Los Feliz Art & Food Festival
LOS FELIZ ART & FOOD FESTIVAL
THIS OCTOBER 26th…
I have the honor and pleasure of producing the 1st Annual Los Feliz Art & Food Festival, presented by Los Angeles District 4 Councilmember David Ryu. The festival will activate the vibrant, close knit neighborhood of Los Feliz, nestled between Griffith Park, Silverlake and the Los Angeles River. The community has a long history of local activism and dedication to the improvement of the neighborhood. It is a true gem where Angelenos from every part of the City come to visit to enjoy the scene. The active culinary scene is the genesis for this festival.
The festival is part of CURRENT:LA’s “conCURRENT” calendar. CURRENT: LA FOOD is a triennial that uses contemporary art as a way to deepen connections on issues affecting Los Angeles and other global cities to inspire civic discourse. It's an initiative that shifts art away from the museum environment and places temporary public art projects and public programs in the neighborhoods of Los Angeles where residents and visitors live, work, and play.
Support for this program is provided through the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Arts Development Fee Program.
We are currently seeking programming, artists, vendors, community partners, production interns and staff.
We’d love to hear from you.
