The Current Project
We'll return to the Ford Theatres in Hollywood this summer!
This concert under the stars will be part of the 2017 season since the Ford's complete renovation with new stage, new lights and new sound by preservation architect Brenda Levin, whose credits include Griffith Observatory, the Wilshire Temple and The Wiltern to name a few. The Ford Theatres bring people together for transformative arts experiences that inspire, empower and ignite cultural exchange.
GIVE WHAT YOU CAN + MAKE A DONATION
We need the generous support of individuals, community partners and businesses to reach our goals. The show encourages Arts Enrichment, Cultural Diversity and Civic Engagement. $25 pays for 1 ticket to be donated to underserved communities in Los Angeles.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Last summer’s 2016 Common Culture show at the Ford created nearly 100 jobs. Our staff, production team and cast included young military veterans, single moms, recent college grads, a diverse range of percussionists, dancers, singers and musicians and two legendary seniors that have dedicated their lives to the arts.
IN THE AUDIENCE:
Last summer, we offered 60 tickets and bus transportation to underserved youth age 16-24 transforming their lives after experiences in the (broken) juvenile system. Help us break the real and perceived barriers to art and music experiences.
