Big World Fun: Kim Eeng Hwa Korean Dance Company

KOREAN DANCE AND MUSIC

Experience the grace and beauty of Korea with Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Company. With their colorful costumes, vibrant music and elegant dance moves, this renowned dance troupe will perform traditional Korean dance and music - a true feast for the senses.

Pre-show activities start @ 9:00 AM – Presented by Go As If, families can make a taleidoscope inspired by the dancers' colorful costumes.

JAZZ CLASSICAL FUSION

Hailing from Japan, Mexico, Guatemala and the U.S., acoustic ensemble Quattrosound skillfully blends personal music influences with classical and jazz on violin, cello, guitar, percussion instruments and creative vocal arrangements.

Come early for crafts on the plaza! Pre-show activities start at 9:00 AM – Presented by Go As If. Create wall art using stencils and vintage music sheets. A pop-up art installation will display the day's creations.

Presenting a theatrical experience unlike any other, Impro Theatre starts with audience suggestions to create a completely improvised play that no one has ever seen, and will never see again. In Fairytales UnScripted, Impro Theatre’s talented company will delve into the world of childhood fairytales, creating a tale full of wondrous magic, adventure, true love, and a lesson or two along the way.

AFRICAN DANCE AND DRUMS

Le Ballet Dembaya will take you on journey to the country of Guinea on the western coast of Africa through their uplifting and energetic percussion and dance. Le Ballet Dembaya's Guinean rhythms and dance will put a smile on your face and will leave you with a feeling of joy the whole day long.

Pre-show activities start @ 9:00 AM – Presented by Go As If, kids will make bows and bowties from traditional African wax fabric, inspired by filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu's concept of "AfroBubbleGum"  - African art that's vibrant, lighthearted and captures the full range of human experiences to tell the stories of Africa.
